THE MAYAN CYCLE OF TIME 

Through evocative music and riveting film imagery, we will embark on an exploration of one of the most advanced and mysterious cultures in the history of our planet. An extraordinary civilization of astronomers, mathematicians, and epic builders of great city states, the Maya developed a society unique in its sophistication and influence in ancient MesoAmerica.

Our celebration marks the ephemeral passage of time. So time itself will be the dramatic theme within our HD presentation, projected on huge screen above the orchestra during performances.

Our journey will take us into the ancient temples and palaces of Bonampak, Palenque, Uxmál, and Calakmúl, where dramatic  sequences by America's most celebrated time-lapse photographers highlight the monumental art and architecture of a vanished civilization. And we will meet today’s Maya - still a vibrant traditional culture steeped in the wisdom of their ancestors.
